Meet Alana Murrin 🌟
A born-and-raised Dubliner, Alana Murrin is a former professional dancer whose career took her from the Gaiety Theatre to the West End, across Europe, and all the way to Australia. At 21, she moved to London where her journey evolved from the stage to the fitness world, ultimately leading her to become a cornerstone of the renowned boutique studio, Psycle London.
Over a decade at Psycle, Alana rose from instructor to Master Trainer and eventually Head of Ride, where she led a team of over 40 instructors and helped grow the brand from two to six studios. With a coaching style rooted in empathy, empowerment, and musicality, she became known for delivering immersive ride experiences that connected mind, body, and soul.
Now back in her hometown with a new perspective and a young family, Alana is channelling her deep passion for movement, music, and human connection into her next chapter - co-founding SAINT Studios in Dublin. She brings with her a wealth of expertise, infectious energy, and a commitment to building something truly meaningful.
About SAINT Studios 💪
SAINT Studios is more than just a fitness studio - it's an urban sanctuary. Co-founded by Alana and her husband Ryan, SAINT was born from a desire to redefine the way we engage with movement and wellness. Set in the heart of Dublin, with four unique offerings of Ride, it's a space designed to nourish the whole self: physically, mentally, and emotionally.
With a focus on strength that transcends the physical, SAINT offers high-quality, music-driven workouts that empower people to feel strong, confident, and connected - in and out of the studio. Rejecting outdated fitness narratives centred on punishment and aesthetics, Alana and Ryan are pioneering a new approach grounded in longevity, joy, and personal growth.
“At SAINT, community is everything. It's a space where everyone is welcome, and where challenge and transformation are met with empathy and soul. This is fitness, elevated.”
What drives Alana's approach to business and wellness?
"I've always been deeply passionate about movement, music and human connection. With the right level of attention and intention with all three, you can create truly transformative and sometimes even transcendent experiences for people.
At SAINT Studios as co-founder, I've been deeply involved in every layer of the brand - from the initial ideation to the creative vision of the space itself. I've always believed that how a space feels is just as important as how it looks. Understanding how energy, design and emotion intersect has been key. Every detail was considered with care - from lighting and layout to the energy we wanted people to feel when they walked in. As Head of Ride, I lead on the training and mentoring of our Ride coaches, as well as overseeing the execution of all our other workouts, building a team that are not only technically excellent but emotionally intelligent. In addition, I also coach myself 5 times a week.”
What drives you?
"People are our passion. We believe true impact comes from the right balance of heart and high standards."
Alana's career philosophy is beautifully summed up in her own words: "Let the plan bend. Trust the pivot. Some of the most defining moments in my career came from things I never planned - only felt."
